Over the years I have visited the incredible Eze Village and have to admit, it’s always love at first sight. The history (please google if you are interested) is fascinating. It’s only four hundred years old! Until nineteen seventy-six it was known as “The Prince of Sweden’s Castle” I like the name Chateau Eza much better.
My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Chateau Eza for a few nights in their Medieval Suite. The champagne on arrival, fresh flowers and massage outside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea followed by dinner with views of the entire coastline was like a dream come true.
Each day was a gift. We often wandered throughout the village once the gates were closed for the day exploring to our hearts content. And the food—absolutely incredible. Again, Exposure to a Billionaire and the sequel have many inspired scenes set at Chateau Eza. Even the character, Jean Michel Durand is from Mauritius and two of the staff members were from… you guessed it, Mauritius.
The service and the attention to every detail was incredible. I’m ready to go back with a bag packed for another adventure!
